SimSpace now offers a completed HECVAT Lite (Higher Education Community Vendor Assessment Toolkit) to support security and privacy reviews by colleges and universities evaluating the SimSpace platform.
The HECVAT Lite provides a structured overview of SimSpace’s security, privacy, and operational controls across areas such as access management, encryption, vulnerability management, incident response, and third-party risk management. This helps institutions evaluate how SimSpace supports the protection of regulated and sensitive data common in higher education environments, including research, student information, and institutional systems.
Beyond platform security, SimSpace enables universities to strengthen their cybersecurity posture through realistic training environments. Institutions can use the SimSpace cyber range to train staff on defending and protecting regulated data and critical infrastructure, while also giving students hands-on experience in realistic cyber scenarios.
